Shakespeare in the Vines - "Midsummer Nights Dream" at Rowanston Winery
Saturday, 31 January 2009
4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Rowanston on the Track winery and Cellar and Store invite you to be taken on a journey as they present Shakespeare's brilliant romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream, produced by Essential Theatre, Melbourne, during their seventh Australian tour of Shakespeare in the Vines.

On the front lawns under beautifully shady trees at this Glenhope winery you will be transported into Shakespeare's Athenian woodland.

There you will meet a band of fairies, the mischievous Puck, Titania, the queen of the fairies and a bumbling band of Athenian craftsmen trying their hand at showbiz! What transpires in this forest is entertainment in its best form. Magical spells, hilarious trickery make up a night filled with love, laughter and dazzling dreams.

This twilight event is to be held at Rowanston on the Track winery in Glenhope on Saturday January 31. Relax on your picnic rug from 4.00pm whilst enjoying your gourmet picnic box (included in ticket price) provided by Cellar and Store, Heathcote.
As the sun begins to set do not miss your opportunity to share a night of fine food, wine and entertainment.

The cost is $60 per person (includes gourmet picnic box). Tickets are available from either Rowanston on the Track Winery (03 5425 5492 evenings), and Cellar and Store (03 5433 2204) or by emailing info@rowanston.com .
