Weather Situation A strong cold front near the western border will move across Victoria on Sunday. An associated low pressure system west of Tasmania will deepen and move across Tasmania later on Sunday before moving northeastwards, reaching the Tasman Sea on Monday. A weak ridge of high pressure will extend over the State on Tuesday, then another cold front will cross the State on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday Cloudy. Scattered showers, falling as snow above 800 metres. Isolated thunderstorms with hail. Winds west to northwesterly averaging 35 to 50 km/h tending southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h by early evening. Temperatures around 8 during the day.

Forecast for Monday Cloudy. Isolated showers, falling as snow above 900 metres in the morning. Winds south to southwesterly averaging 40 to 55 km/h tending southerly 30 to 45 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 4 with daytime temperatures reaching around 10.

Forecast for Tuesday Cloud increasing. Isolated showers about the ranges early in the morning. Patches of light frost in the north in the morning. Winds south to southwesterly averaging 20 to 35 km/h tending west to northwesterly up to 30 km/h by early evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 5 with daytime temperatures reaching around 11.
